Childcare Provided by Stepping Stones Childcare Center

Stepping Stones Childcare Center will provide supervised childcare for families attending the Deployed Spouses Workshop at The Gala Event Center in Mountain Home on Wednesday, August 19, 2026. Childcare will take place at our licensed childcare facility during the event for children ages 18 months through 9 years.

Stepping Stones Childcare Center has proudly served Mountain Home families since 2018, providing a safe, structured, and engaging environment for children. We are proud to serve many Mountain Home Air Force Base families and understand the importance of dependable, high-quality childcare for military parents.

Children will enjoy supervised play, age-appropriate activities, games, and a movie throughout the evening. A meal, drinks, and snacks will also be provided.

RSVP & Parental Permission Form

We strongly request that families complete this RSVP and parental permission form by Friday, August 14, 2026. Receiving this information in advance is extremely helpful for arranging age-appropriate staffing, meals, supplies, activities, and care.

The form collects important information, including each child’s age, allergies, emergency contacts, authorized pickup adults, and any special considerations.

Families who do not receive the link or cannot complete the form in advance may complete it with us at check-in on the day of the event. Day-of childcare is subject to available capacity and our ability to provide appropriate care arrangements. A completed parental permission form is required before a child may enter care.

The form also includes three important policies for parents to review: Supply, Behavior, and Illness policies. These policies must be acknowledged and accepted to complete registration.

Arrival & Check-In

Our center does not have exterior signage. This helps maintain the safety and privacy of the children in our care; however, it can make the location slightly difficult to find for first-time visitors. For your convenience, we have included a photo of the entrance below.

A coded entry door provides access to our foyer before entering the childcare facility. After completing the RSVP form, families will receive the entry code and arrival instructions.

Upon arrival, parents will complete a brief check-in process and sign their children in for the evening. Please allow a few extra minutes at arrival, especially if you need to complete the form at check-in.

Pickup Procedures

Children must be signed in and signed out by a parent or authorized adult listed on this form. Photo identification may be required at pickup.

For safety reasons, only adults listed on the RSVP form will be permitted to pick up a child.

Safety & Staff

All caregivers supervising the event have completed enhanced background checks through the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare and maintain current Pediatric CPR and First Aid certifications.

Children will be supervised at all times by experienced caregivers in a licensed childcare setting.

Event Schedule

Drop-Off & Check-In: 5:00 PM–5:30 PM

Parent Event Begins: 5:30 PM

Pickup Window: 8:00 PM–8:30 PM

Please allow enough travel time from The Gala Event Center. All children must be signed out and picked up no later than 8:30 PM.
